DALY
COMPUTERS AWARDED VIRGINIA STATE WIDE TERM CONTRACTS FOR PERSONAL COMPUTERS,
NOTEBOOKS AND SERVERS.
CLARKSBURG, MD - The
Virginia Department of Information Technology (DIT) has awarded three contracts,
against RFP# 2001-030, the Virginia State Wide Personal Computer Contract, to
Daly, Inc. of Clarksburg, MD.
Daly received two premium level awards
along with a value level award:

Contract # VA-010523-DALY
was awarded for IBM under the premium category to include servers, desktops,
workstations and laptops.

Contract # VA-010524-DALY
was awarded for MicronPC under the premium category to include servers,
desktops, workstations and laptops.
- Contract
# VA-010525-DALY was awarded for Daly PC under the value category to include
desktops, workstations and laptops.
Under the agreement,
any Virginia public sector entity (state, local or county government, K-12 or
higher education) may purchase microcomputers, workstations, servers and
laptops. It includes associated hardware and operating system software that
would allow the operation of the computer as a stand-alone unit, a networked
unit in a local area network (LAN), a networked unit in a wide area network
(WAN), or any combination of the three. It
also includes services to support warranty and post-warranty maintenance. The
contract is effective immediately.
