Clarksburg, MD, June 23, 2003 - Daly, Inc, a systems integrator and enterprise solution provider based here, has been recognized by CMP Media’s VARBusiness magazine as one of North America’s top technology integrators. Daly placed number 359 in the ninth annual VARBusiness 500 ranking.
The 500 companies are the leading revenue producers among approximately 90,000 solution provider organizations and account for $313 billion in sales of information-technology (IT) services and products. The complete listing of the VARBusiness 500 is published in the June 23, 2003, issue of the biweekly business magazine that provides strategic insight for technology integrators.
Robert C. DeMarzo, VARBusiness editorial director, notes that companies like Daly play critical roles in providing the proper information-technology strategies and systems to corporations and institutions. “Through its expertise, Daly ensures appropriate, cost-effective IT implementation to help drive business forward,” he says.
Daly not only placed on the VARBusiness 500 but also was given the Technology Leader Award. For this award, VARBusiness went in search of two companies that were masters of technology. These organizations demonstrate exacting technical capabilities with leading edge technologies to deliver real world solutions for their customers. This year's winners distinguish themselves among a large pool of competitors.
When presenting the award, David Strom, VARBusiness Technology Editor, announced: “Our first winner has shown leadership by evolving their management and services business, spinning it off from home-grown solutions developed in house to become a separate business unit so respected that it's deployed by some of their competitors. Our first Technology Leader Award goes to Daly.

To complete the 2003 ranking of the 500 largest North American solution providers, VARBusiness partnered with
Harte-Hanks, a San Antonio-based firm that specializes in technology-focused research. VARBusiness designed the survey and
Harte-Hanks assisted with data collection. Finalists were ranked according to their fiscal year 2002 revenue, calculated by factoring out non-solution-provider and non-computer-related revenue.
